The Data Place Identity
The Data Place is a social enterprise with the mission of making data publishing easier and more affordable.
The main icon is derived from the letters “d” and “p”, constructed to reference a 3D chart. The three-dimensional aspect refers to the company’s ambition for making data tangible through providing ways for people to make real use of it.
The brand identity is evolving with opportunities to use it single-colour as a background shape and in wireframe to apply over other materials. It was also designed to allow the block construction to be taken apart and re-configured for other applications, all in keeping with the flexible nature of the company’s product.
